Look into the market and you see a void of mixed materials for bedroom. We are addressing this with a Metal bed, softened with upholstered inserts and coordinating wood side rails. Outfitter’s Post  is a mix of materials and design elements that blend together to create Today’s Traditional.   .

  The metal bed was designed with casual comfort in mind. We added inserts of woven polyester fabric to the headboard and footboard and trimmed them with nail heads. The side rails are done with Oak veneers to coordinate the finish with the casegoods. Cases are smaller in scale, that will fit nicely in the main bedroom or secondary bedrooms.

  Made with Oak veneers and wire-brushed poplar solids we finished the wood in a warm-Bourbon and added a metallic powder to the glaze, which coordinates the sparkle to the powder-coated vintage copper on the metal bed. Hardware was selected in a pipe configuration to coordinate to the metal bed detailing and we added metal corners to the cases with a large nail head treatment. The casegoods feature thick tops with a large overhang for scale..

The 64” Dresser has deep storage drawers we added a functional 28” wide Nightstand, with 2-drawers, has a top-mounted wireless charger in the top and dual-USB ports (A&C ports) on the back. The Drawer Chest features 5 drawers for ample storage space. Lower-row drawers of both the Dresser and Chest utilize an aromatic cedar bottom, while all top-row drawers have felt-covered bottoms and mid-drawers are Cherry veneer. All drawers are made with ½” plywood drawer boxes, English dovetails and ¼” thick drawer bottoms. The 12” Ball-bearing slides, offer the best and most smooth glides available in furniture.
