Traditional product is all about subtle-detailing and modern conveniences. The Abington product is made with mis-matched white oak veneers and Poplar solids. The all Sherwin Williams finish system is hand applied over 14 steps. The finish is called “Linville Oak”, where we start with light durostain to pop the grain and then hand-glaze the product to rub the finish into the wood. After 12 steps, we add a soft powder glaze to enhance the wood and complete with 2 top coats of satin lacquer. The Vintage Tin hardware is a nice accent of color. Top doors & drawers are trimmed with a round knob, while we use a tapered-round bar pull for the lower doors.
The dining table is grand in scale. The 76” top will extend to 108” with the (2) 16” leafs. The 4-post trestle base has space for up to 10 chair seating. The dining chairs have padded and webbed seat and an upholstered back for comfort.
The China cabinet has shaped top doors that tie to the shaped top rail of the chairs and features LED lights with touch dimmer to the top-right hinge. The glass shelves are tempered glass as is the beveled front and side glass. We added a silver tray to the top-right drawer for convenience. The Sideboard is 68” and features storage behind the doors for the bulky items and felt-lined top drawers for serving utensils.
